Description: From a New England collection comes this attractive specimen of one of the rarest and sexiest RG Revolvers of all time, the RG63. Manufacturer was Rohm GmbH of Sontheim, West Germany. This revolver is not import stamped, but most RGs came in through Eig Cutlery in Miami, ancestor to the live and thriving EAA Corporation. 67 date code indicates a 1967 manufacture date. Type is side loading, single and double action revolver somewhat on the order of the Colt Lightning and Thunderer Revolvers. Construction is steel inside barrel, cylinder, hammer, trigger, and internal parts fitted into a zinc alloy / pot metal frame with pot metal ejector shroud, muzzle band, and with white plastic grip panels. Finish is blued steel and black semi gloss anodized alloy. Chambering is .32 Smith & Wesson and .32 S&W Long Calibers interchangeably, and cylinder capacity is 6 rounds. Loading and ejection is side style, following the design of the 19th Century Colt ancestors. Barrel is 4 15/16 inch one piece, pinned into place, with steel inner barrel that has 8 groove right hand 1:16 rifling. Sights are alloy muzzle band blade front, with frame integral fixed notch rear. Trigger is .200 smooth face, with matching serrated spur hammer. Ignition is floating firing pin, with transfer bar internal safety device that prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is fully depressed. Frame is modified Bisley style with 5 inches of height from the grip frame butt to the top of the frame. Weight empty is 31 1/2 ounces, with center of gravity at the trigger edge. Surface detractions on this RG63 are moderate, principally edge wear to its frame, trigger guard, and ejector assembly, and small amounts of whitening and freckling to its blued steel surfaces. We rate it as Very Good, 75 to 80 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Double action trigger pull is tight but smooth 12 pound vicinity. On both single and double action, the cylinder times correctly on all Six positions. Cylinder has no lateral play with the trigger fully depressed. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is minimal, only a faint etchy impress. From the minimal blast effect, and from the minimal carbon deposits on the cylinder face, we estimate this RG has been fired fewer than 100 times. Replacement pricing on similar revolvers from German and Italian Manufacturers is $400 or more; none of the competitors have double action, and none of them in .32 S&W Long Caliber. We’re offering the Vietnam Era RG63 in the photos, however, for only $ 189.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, Illinois, District of Colombia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oregon, or any jurisdiction with a Melt Law or Approved Firearms Roster. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $15 lower 48; $40 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
