Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this Bernardelli Gamecock Deluxe 20-gauge side by side. Serial number 106659, this shotgun was manufactured in 1969. This wonderful gun features many best gun attributes including reinforced bolsters, a sculpted frame and engraved fences, an articulated front trigger, jeweled water table and fore iron, crisp hand cut engraving, and stock checkering with double borders. The box lock design is enhanced by an perfectly fitted faux side plate and the whole action is rebated to the stock head. The Gamecock Deluxe has double triggers with the front trigger articulated, timed selective ejectors and automatic safety. The 27 ½” barrels are chocked LM/F with 3” chambers. The gun weighs a perfect 6lbs with modern stock dimensions-see specs for details-and a neutral cast; Vintage Firearms Inc can quickly alter the stock to suit, please call to enquire. The action has 99% traditional bone and charcoal case color and delicate engraved borders with scroll motifs carrying up onto the fences and features a third hidden bite for a solid lock-up. The screws are perfect and the fit of metal to wood is excellent. There is a lot of traditional Italian gun making built into this shotgun and all for a very reasonable price, indeed, one of the best value side-by-sides on the market and a great looker either on the manicured clay fields or upland hunting. In addition, this Gamecock Deluxe has been inspected, the action stripped to the smallest parts, ultrasonically cleaned and all parts scrubbed to shiny metal, all parts are inspected for integrity and function, then lubricated and reassembled, making this a VFI CERTIFIED GUN, a $275 service in our shop.
