This semi-auto assault/tactical rifle is chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem., the same round used in the AR 15/16. The rifle's barrel is 16.25 inches, it has a fluted chamber for reliable cycling, has impact resistant plastic stock, USA packerized finish, solid welds on receiver, and is 36.5 inches overall in length. This rifle comes with two 40 round high capacity magazines, new HK leather rifle sling, 100 rounds of ammo (3 boxes of 55 GR. FMJ Tulammo,one box of Federal 55 GR M193 Ball, and one box of American Eagle Tatical Tracer XM856 64 GR) and original owners manual. The bolt head space on this rifle checks out within specs. I purchased this rifle from a former US Army Ranger who did not fire it and I have not fired this rifle since I purchased it.
