I've owned this rifle for about 40 years. The barrel and receiver bluing is really nice with some wear at the normal areas, bore is excellent, 24 inch barrel. Stock has been refinished. The checkering is very nice with no damage. The barrel is marked 30-06 GOV.. I have the sight for the rear which I believe is called a 22G. Rifle has that neat looking barrel swell for the rear sight. Metal butt plate with blue wear on floor plate from being carried.. Overall a fine old classic rifle that anyone would be proud to hunt with.. The stock has no damage or cracks, . This rifle has Controlled round feeding, this is important when hunting.
