Description: Gewher 98 8mm Mauser manufactuerd in 1912 at the Spandau Arsenal.

Rifle has the crown stamp as well as the arsenal (Spandau) and year (1912). It also has the Nazi markings "S/42" on the barrel. The rifle is a winter model due to the oversize trigger guard to accommodate for thick gloves. It also has a nice sporterized stock.

All of the numbers match on the housing, barrel, trigger guard, and receiver.

The Serial number is a very low, #6110.

This rifle comes with a Simmons Model 7780 scope for long range hunting.

The barrel bluing is about 70% with some minor pitting and rust. Barrel bore is in really good condition and does not show any major scratches or heavy pitting.
