"10.5 Alpha" starts with a Precision M4 flattop upper receiver that is machined to Military specifications from a 7075-TA aluminum forging with M4 feedramps, laser Tmarks and is finished with a Type-3 Mil-Spec Black anodizing. We chose the NC-4150V 10.5" barrel in 5.56/.223, M4 feed ramps, 1-7 twist rate, finished in Melonite QPQ for accuracy and longevity. The Lo-Pro gas block in Melonite with Mil-Spec carbine length SS gas tube and Try Claymore SBR Brake finnish off the barrel assymbly. We then installed a Troy 11" TRX Alpha rail with front sight in hardcoat anodized, Teflon® coated, matte black finish. These streamlined handguards have a full length top Picatinny rail, deep horizontal grooves for a secure no-slip grip, and additional ventilation holes to reduce weight and dissipate heat.
