It is NOT a German Mauser; however, I selected it from hundreds of 24/47s available and it is in very nice with an excellent bore. This is one of the most pleasant rifles I have ever shot, accurate and not very loud due to the long barrel. The trigger is only OK, so I bought a nice adjustable Timney trigger for this rifle but I never got around to installing it. (Simple inletting inside the stock +/- 0.25” has to be done to clear the Timney assembly, then two drive pins to finish) This trigger is included in the sale as well as 60 rounds of PPU 196 grain SP ammunition (for hunting). This is a package offer – I dp not wish to split up the above items.
