WWII Long Branch No.4 Mk.1*...this rifle was produced in Canada in conjunction with the rifles produced by Savage in the US under the Lend/Lease program. A typical No.4 rifle apart from the excellent condition, this rifle would typically have been shipped to the UK and almost certainly saw service in combat during the Second World War. Regarded by many as the finest bolt-action rifle design in history, the Lee Enfield has been a superb service arm, with Long Branch Canadian guns regarded as the best by shooters and highly sought-after by collectors. This all-matching example, while undoubtedly a superior range weapon, is a great fit for the collection of British, Canadian or WWII firearms. The 303 caliber rifle that I have here is in excellent condition and the bayonet is as well. The bore of the rifle is excellent and the bayonet has cosmoline on the blade and the blade looks perfect and new in condition. The pictured case of ammunition is an extra and can be purchased with the rifle for an additional $450 and $50 to ship it. The tracer ammo in the case is as new, one box was opened and one cartridge is missing. The case of ammo does not come with the rifle, it will be sold to the first person who wants it for $450 plus $50 shipping.
