Very nice example of a WW2 era gun. This old war horse has been there and done that. These field grade CMP guns are fit for combat issue in that the barrel and function meets Mil Spec's. Nice walnut stock with no cracks etc, just usual dents a dings. The barrel readings are the key to any Garand and this one has excellent readings T-2 M-1, crown is very crisp.. The most important part is it has a WW2 Winchester barrel. The barrel on this rifle is so rare you can't even buy one. If you found one of these barrels you'd pay at least $1000 for it. If you have Win Garand with the wrong barrel then this rifle is for you. Just have the barrels switched and you've increased the value of both guns. Ships to FFL only where legal.
