The barrel sight slot is milled 1 5/8" farther from the receiver than a ladder sight would be, to accomodate the longer Rifle sight . The butt plate is rifle Crescent shape. There is only one other like it in the WiNCHESTER BOOK by MADIS.The low price reflects the stock cracks. All-in-All, a carbine with some rifle features that make it unique.
