Nicely marked lock dated 1863. Metal parts have an untouched, deep patina overall, with some scattered pitting. Stock shortened to just in front of the lower barrel band. Wood was sanded down and refinished long ago, free of cracks, with one sliver missing from the ramrod channel in front of the band.
