Smith & Wesson’s 4000 series pistols, manufactured from the late 1980s until the mid 2000 decade, were such well built pistols that they will be around for years after most of us are gone. Here are well maintained police magazines, manufactured in the present millennium, since 2000. Manufacturer was Check-Mate Industries, Smith & Wesson’s primary subcontractor for S&W Factory Magazines for many years. These are factory Smith & Wesson magazines. Construction is stainless steel body, with steel spring and steel floorplate piece; with black dura coat polymer floorplate and blue polymer cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 11 rounds of .40 S&W caliber ammunition. These magazines fit Smith & Wesson 4000 type metal frame pistols in .40 S&W caliber, including the standard 410, 40034026 4043 4044 and 4046, and any of those models’ TSW variants. They will not fit the small single-stacked 4013 type pistols. These magazines are in Very Good condition, perhaps even Excellent condition. Most of these magazines have moderate carbon deposits on their cartridge followers and moderate amounts of insertion and ejection scuffing on their stainless steel bodies. Photos show the actual magazines we have from this lot. Replacement pricing on current production number 19353 magazines is upwards of $50 apiece. We’re offering these factory Smith & Wesson Magazines, however, for only $ 17.00.
