Description: Marlin Model 1894 antique rifle in .38W (38 WCF or .38-40) serial number 120xxx, shipped in 1895, octagon 24" octagon barrel. This gun has light rust pitting overall, but lots of blue finish, in the 80% range. All the edges are sharp and the markings, except the caliber mark on the barrel top which is very light, are quite readable. The stocks have only light marks and dents, with few going through the finish. They retain probably 95% of their original varnish. Sights are original, the front a Rocky Mountain style, and the rear a semi-buckhorn. I'm not a Marlin expert, so look at the pictures. What you see is what you get.
