This rifle was formerly owned and used by E. C. Crossman in matches. A close look at the pictures will show you the details. Also included are the Model 1907 Sling and the P J O'hare sight adjustment gauge. The sight cover is a bit sprung and the spring for the cover is not working properly. This is a rare opportunity to own one of Americas most collectible Military rifles. According to Brophys's book on the 1903 Springfield there were 28,000 plus National match rifles produced from 1921 to 1939. Only 3530 of them escaped the arsenal rebuild process to survive in original condition. Ultimately some of those were modified by the users over time so this makes this a quite rare specimen to have survived the rebuild untouched and still remain all original to this day.
