Construction is hard black polymer round serrated surface outers, lined with aluminum alloy inserts. These forends are new and unissued, packaged just like they came to us in ziplock bags. They will fit most any AR15 M4 type rifle made by Colt, Bushmaster, DPMS, Essential Arms, Smith & Wesson, or others regardless of caliber, so long as it has its forend retainers positioned 9 inches apart. Overall length is 8 5/8 inches. Replacement pricing on new AR15 forends usually runs in the $50.00 vicinity.
