Description: This is a very good condition Winchester Model 61 pump action rifle in .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle caliber. This rifle has a 24" barrel and, based on the serial number, was manufactured in 1939.

The bluing is in very good to excellent condition. The rifle has been re-blued. The left side of the receiver was drilled and tapped for a scope mount at some point in the past and the holes have been plugged. There are light wear marks on the barrel from the forearm. There is very fine pitting on the right side as you can see in the pictures. Please look closely at the pictures below.

The stock and forearm are in good condition. There are numerous drags and dents on the stock and some areas where the finish has worn through. The finish on the bottom of the forearm is moderately worn. Please look closely at the pictures below.

The action cycles properly and the bore is bright and has strong rifling.
