Description: PRICE REDUCED!! Mummy Wrapped New Old Stock 1955 Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 2 in .303 British. This rifle is UNISSUED, UNMODIFIED....considered the best of the Enfields. This rifle is NEW condition and has been stored since 1955 where it was manufactured under the RAF Contract in the Fazakerley Royal Ordnance Factory near Liverpool, UK where only 20,000 were produced. Given there was no need for the unit in 1955 it was stored and when technology and England moved on they were again sold to importers in the 1990's. Most of these are gone, unwrapped, etc. These are getting EXTREMELY RARE and hard to find still with the Mummy Wrap intact. The Mummy Wrap shows sign of wear for being stored for 64+ years. There are 3 small tears, 1 at the muzzle, one touching the bolt knob and a slight cut to verify the serial #. Please contact me at or through GunsAmerica if you have any questions.
