I purchased this rifle used in 1993 and used it for Pennsylvania white tail deer until buying a Blaser rifle two years later. The rifle has remained in my safe since. Also after purchasing Mark V, I sent rifle to Answer Products Inc. and had it glass bedded/barrel lapped, lugged/trigger/Answer brake and scope mag mounted. The scope is a Swarovski Habicht 2.2 x 9 Nova (mounted on Buehler 30mm rings) that was purchased new at the same time as rifle. With my hand loads this rifle shoots nickel sized groups using 180 gr. Nosler Bal. tip. Also with purchase, rifle comes with original leather sling, factory Weatherby green case and dies/brass.
