Barrel threads are in great shape. This receiver is cut for the use of stripper clips. Markings may indicate that this is a pre-WWII receiver made in Japan of "Nippon Special Steel". This has a good chance of being a "Test Model". This will make a superior Custom Rifle Build Foundation.
