The Bushmaster XM-15 is one of the world’s most popular military and law-enforcement models featuring exceptional accuracy, durability, and corrosion resistance. Solid, quality forged, lightweight 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum receivers have all M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open, and raised ridges for magazine release button protection.
The Bulletproof Guns Tactical Warfare SOPMOD is fully equipped with a complete sight/optics system that can adapt instantly to any shooting situation for maximum versatility. In addition to the security provided by a flip-up back-up sight, this system also includes a rugged, battle-ready red-dot scope; a compatible 3X magnifier (co-witnessed perfectly) for enhanced accuracy at long range; with each optic individually mounted on an innovative twist-off mount that locks solidly in place, yet easily releases with a simple twisting motion. For improved CQB capabilities the Tactical Warfare Edition includes a light/laser unit which is center mounted to achieve constant x-axis zero at any distance. The laser sight is also perfectly positioned within easy reach of the Magpul AFG2 (angled fore grip) for lightning fast activation with or without the detachable pressure switch. This model has also been adapted for a single-point sling with an ambidextrous attachment end plate and includes a high quality adjustable single-point bungee sling. To decrease weight and improve comfort and handling the Tactical Warfare Edition also features a Magpul MOE Plus grip, Magpul enhanced trigger guard, Magpul XTM enhanced rail covers, and a Magpul polymer 30 round PMAG.
