This listing is a NIB CZ 527 American chambered in the iconic .222 Remington, aka the Triple Deuce! The .222 set the standard for many years as THE smallbore target cartridge and can still hold its own today. The CZ 527 small bore centerfire rifle line is designed to provide the hunter or sport shooter a precision rifle that is lightweight and easy to use.
“CZ developed the CZ 527 rifle line for the hunter or sport shooter looking for a lightweight, super accurate rifle,” said Josef Jares, Director of CZ-USA.
The CZ 527 rifle features a slim, hammer-forged, tapered, 23 inch, super accurate barrel. The action is pure controlled feed-Mauser, fed by a detachable five-round magazine. The safety consists of a two position Enfield style lever that blocks the firing pin. The CZ 527 rifle's trigger mechanism consists of a single set design that is end user adjustable in order to regulate both the trigger pull and the trigger travel. The stock features a curved comb and well defined pistol grip, allowing the rifle to point easily and accurately. Other characteristics of the 527 includes quality construction and materials for long service life, reliable functionality, and quick and simple field stripping. (NOTE: This rifle has a traditional 1 in 14 inch twist rate and will generally not stabilize some of the heavier/longer .22 caliber bullets on the market today.)
