This is a brand new and improved version of the original SGS compensator that was made in Italy in the 80s. The basic SGS style compensator is designed for use with any full sized Beretta 92 Series (9mm only) pistol with a standard dust cover and a 4.9" factory barrel. This compensator can also be used on a Taurus PT92 and PT99 pistol with or without a rail. In addition to this basic SGS style compensator, we are also making a new "wide body" SGS style compensator (it is only 1/8th" wider than the regular one) for the 9mm Beretta pistols which have a rail built into the dust cover (Vertec, M9A1, 92G-SD, etc.) AND a brand new version of the basic wide body compensator which has been specifically designed for use on the new Beretta Model 92A1. This ad is for ONE of the regular SGS style compensators. One of the unique features of the SGS design is that it does NOT require a threaded barrel. Several of these compensators have been sold in California. It should go without saying, but the Beretta pistol the compensator is mounted on in the pictures is NOT included as part of this sale. The SGS compensator is the same compensator that was used on Leon's two Beretta pistols in the movie "The Professional". This is not some cheap Chinese knockoff of the original SGS compensator. These new SGS style compensators are made locally and are superior to the original SGS compensators in every way. There are no other dealers and the only place you can buy one of these SGS style compensators is from me. These compensators are made in the US by Americans out of some of the best materials money can buy and CNC machined to a high quality standard. The compensator is made out of 7075 T-6 aircraft grade aluminum alloy. The bushing which is press fit and pinned at the back of the compensator is made out of 4140 heat treated steel. The special elongated guide rod is made out of 316 stainless steel. The special retaining screw has been redesigned to make it stronger and is made out of 17-4 stainless steel. All other components are made out of steel. These compensators are normally finished with a Mil. Spec. Type III, Class 2, hard coat black anodized finish, but can be provided with a satin silver bead blasted finish on request. The compensators are made with the original SGS factory "gap" and come completely packaged with the new improved guide rod and retaining screw assembly, a new improved Nord Lock lock washer, an assembly pin, an allen wrench, and a reworked copy of the original SGS instruction sheet. These compensators have been shipped literally all over the world (Canada, Australia, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, etc.) without any problem. International buyers are welcome, but will be charged an extra shipping fee.
