I have never fired this rifle and just had it assembled into the configuration it is in now. The reason that I am selling it is that after waiting so long for it I changed my mind on the caliber that I want and am going with a Barrett 98B in .338 Lapua Mag. Now here is the best part for you...if you want I can substitue the Leupold Mark 4 M3 10x40 LRT in mil-dot for a Leupold Mark 4 M3 3.5-10x40 LRT in TMR for no additional charge. Both scopes are new and authentic Leupold Mark 4 scopes. Also, you can substitute the current HS Precision PSV74 stock for an H-S Precision adjustable tactical M24 stock in sand color for and additional $575.00. Now back to the rifle...I say again this is a brand new never fired Remington 700 stainless special 308 rifle with 24 inch heavy stainless steel 5-R milspec barrel, free floated in an aluminum bedded green/black (appears to be black with webs) spider webbed finished HS Precision varmint stock. This rifle features the same barrel that is found on the M-24 sniper rifles. It has two sling studs on the front of the stock for mounting a sling as well as a bipod.
