I have a lot of experience over the last almost 15 years of building accurate AR platform rifles. 223 Wylde, 5.56, 6.5 Creedmoor, 300 Blackout, 308, 224 Valkyrie, 6mm AEC, 350 Legend, 450 Bushmaster, 50 Beowulf & etc.* •THIS IS AN FFL REQUIRED ITEM• •••• This is not an ordinary build. The barrel extension was shimmed with stainless steel .001" shim stock. Heated up upper receiver extension on the upper with heat gun to slightly enlarge it. Installed the wrapped barrel extension into the upper receiver extension (look at pictures) Used some bearing sleeve retainer 620 loctite green loctite on the shim stock as well. Use rubber mallet to work barrel extension into the receiver extension for the tightest fit possible with the parts used for this build. Torqued the barrel nut up to 40 ft / lbs & we are good to go. This is the process I do on almost all my builds to be certain that this particular build is going to be accurate. The better the center axis is between the upper & the barrel gives the best possible accuracy with these components. The SUB MOA results stand for themselves •••• UPPER Description - Accurized upper.
