Walnut forearm, pistol grip & stock with high luster finish. Pistol grip has United States Army medallion. Both sides of stock have medallions bearing date of "14 June 1775". Gold flash hider, bolt knob, rear sight & sling swivels. Leather military sling. Rifle includes assorted paperwork and receipts from the original owner's purchase. This rifle cost nearly $3,000 new 15 years ago. The rifle still retains its tie strap over the action and is unfired. The rifles display case shows minor imperfections from storage and handling but shows beautifully and has wonderful grain and finish. The rifles front handguard has a split as photographed. This does not appear to be from being dropped but rather a production or installation defect. The split is solid and does not show when in the display case.
