Its a deluxe (with checkering) Model 49 single shot .22 short , long or long rifle caliber lever action rifle. Overall condition is good and the bore is very clean. The action on this rifle is very smooth and solid. There is some wear on the metal areas as to be expected for this model but nothing that detracts from the joy of ownership one of these little classics brings. The wood is surprisingly very nice overall and has a particularly nice wood grain as shown in the pictures. Very attractively priced (we saw one similar sell for over $400. in auction) and a sure collector or just a really nice first gun for a young enthusiast! Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
