Description: For sale is a very rare unused bayonet "T65" (type 1965) M7 style bayonet that was liberated during Operation Just Cause (Panamanian conflict, Dec 1989) and brought home. This came home with a soldier from Ft. Amador, Panama, while serving during the invasion of Panama.

It is in excellent condition, the blade being near mint with slight runner marks and the original finish. The muzzle ring is larger than the traditional M7 bayonets in the same great condition and the handles are perfect. The pommel is also perfect. The scabbard is also in excellent condition with the only marking "T65" on the throat. Overall length of scabbard is 14 3/8. Overall length of knife is 13 and the blade is 8 3/16 inches.

None of these items were ever sold off as surplus. The only ones were brought home as souvenirs by returning veterans. If you collect Colt or M7's, this is one of the crown jewels as far as foreign stuff. Thanks for looking.
