This item has a 24” tapered octagon barrel with a suprisingly shiny bore and strong rifling and there is no visible pitting. A good portion of the original blueing is intact on the barrel but does show scratches & dings as well as wear and freckling in the finish (mostly on the receiver & lever). The stocks are in good shape and do show scratches & dings in the wood but have no chips or cracks. This rifle is in great shape considering it's age.
