The metal surfaces retain 98% original blue with some light fading on back and front strap and some scattered minor spots of silvering, with the exception of the bbl. At one point in its life the firearm was exposed to some unknown solvent or water which left the bb;with a mottled finish. While there is no visible oxidation on the bbl it has taken the appearance of having varying shades or degrees of blue remaining on the surface. This would bring the overall percentage down to around 93% to 95%. The hammer, lanyard ring and trigger retain much of their original case hardened finish showing vibrant colors throughout. The smooth walnut grips rate very good plus with a few light handling marks and minor dings. All serial numbers are matching, the barrel is marked "U.S. Property" and the back of frame on right side is marked with a crisp flaming bomb. There is no box or papers.
