Description: Gold plated and engraved with genuine ivory grips in wooden presentation case with cleaning rod. Truly a piece with an interesting past. The gun was stolen here in the USA. The gold plate, engraving and ivory work was added and then headed for a South American client, it was confiscated at the air port. After due course the Mauser was returned to its original owner here in the USA now gold plated and engraved with the ivory grips, a very pleasant surprise. This C96 including its unusual past is available shipped to your FFL for $4650.00. The condition is like new.
