a good working model 1917 chambered for the .45 ACP. with a U.S Gov't pinned barrel of 5 1/2", and very good bore. The blue finish is about 80% with were to the flat of the right side, and some fine pits under the cylinder release.Has U.S. Army markings on the butt.SN 467XX. Action is tight, and has the faint cylinder drag line typical of S&W.The walnut grips are very good, and are plain wood some oversize around the edges, but they look like military issue, not anything modern. We don’t have a store, and sell on the internet only. I am an estate dealer, and buy whole contents of homes, mostly gun smith's estates. Been doing this for 40 years. Never know what I'll find next.We look for the unusual, we don't buy new guns from wholesalers, and resell! !KEEP CHECKING MY INVENTORY. We don't do feedback this isn't EBAY! Thank you.
