Made in 1964, serial number 850461 features a 2-inch barrel, steel "round grip" frame and checkered walnut logo grips. The top of the frame along the sighting gutter as well as the angled rear portion of the front sight is serrated. MARKINGS: An "H" appears at the left rear of the trigger guard and a portion of the serial is written by hand on the inside of each grip panel. CONDITION: The bore is strong. The action (both single and double) operates properly and the cylinder locks up as solid as a bank vault. Overall metal finish is about 70 percent, with thinning at the sharper edges, along the guard and around the grip. Grip panels have softened checkering with areas of flattening, with minor impressions and chipping. The price is firm and layaway is available.
