This is a well-used Parker Brothers 12 gauge shotgun made in 1901 (Serial #105836). It is in very good condition mechanically with a tight action and is completely functioning. The barrel has been cut to 27.375” and the length of pull is 14.25”. The butt stock has been broken and mended at the wrist, and the crest medallion or initial plate has been removed from the underside of the butt stock. Markings tell us that this is a number 2 frame in what would probably have been the “O” grade or “V” grade, which was one of the more utilitarian grades of Parker, designed for use, not display. Parker Brothers guns are expensive. A 10% gun in the 39th Edition of The Blue Book of Gun Values is priced at $1500.00. With the cut barrel and damaged butt stock, this gun is worth something as a partial restoration work, or maybe even for parts. I have priced it accordingly, but I will certainly consider trade or offers. So, call or email me if you think a discussion would be worthwhile.
