Highly sought after even on more common firearms, the Master's work covering an other wise historic and highly collectible firearm is an opportunity not lightly missed. The 4 5/8" barrel has a bright lightly frosted bore. All of the exposed metal surfaces are engraved in deep relief foliate scroll with sprays of leaves and flowers all with a textured background, the exception being a part of the underside of the slide. Even the barrel is engraved where it is exposed through the ejection port. The entire pistol exhibits a soft post-engraved nickel finish including the magazine and the engraver has signed the piece just above the trigger on the left side. Mother-of-pearl grips are well fitted and rate excellent. There is a slotted rear grip strap and the gun is equipped with a blade front sight with tangent rear sight. Included is a very attractive canvas and leather case with burgundy velvet lining set up with compartments for the pistol, magazine, accessories, and 14 cartridges.
