These SKS's were imported exclusively by Navy Arms of Ridgefield, New Jersey in the early 1990's. This small importation was marketed by Navy Arms under the name Cowboy Companion. The Chinese assembled these SKS's from numerous sources so most have non-matching serial numbers. This SKS has non-matching numbers. This SKS appears unfired since original assembly. Metal blue is 99% and wood stock is in excellent condition. No cracks are present in wood or hand guard. Rifle has the original factory scope mount on the left side of receiver. Bore is like new condition: bright with sharp lands. Comes with original Chinese cleaning kit in the butt stock. No bayonet or bayonet lug. SKS includes original importers shipping box. Paratroopers/Cowboy Companion examples in this condition are difficult to find. SKS would make a good shooter or collector item as few of these special order guns were imported.
