Description: This is a Joslyn Civil War carbine in caliber .52 rimfire. Lock is marked Joslyn Fire Arms Co. Stonington, Conn. Breechblock marked with serial number only "11517" and matches number on frame. Condition is very good as is bore. Wood is very good with cartouches still visible. Many Cavalry units used this Joslyn including the 4th & 8th Indiana, 19th New York, 13th Tenn.,9th Penna, 3rd WV.,2nd Wiscon.,1st Nebraska,1st Nevada, and the 11th Ohio. ASK FOR MORE PHOTOS OF GUN.
