Here is a slick finished, smooth functioning tactical shotgun manufactured on the order of the Benelli Nova Tactical, the Charles Daly 300 THD. Manufacturer is Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco Global Arms, Inc. / SGAI of Miami, a company that bankrupted in 2015. Type is pump or slide action shotgun. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, internal parts, and sling slots, built into a light weight alloy receiver with polymer stock, forend, and trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 18 inch plain top Rem-choke threaded. Tube furnished is .727 Cylinder Bore 5 slash stainless. Bore, chamber, and hood are all chrome lined in Italian fashion. Outside diameter is .834 at the muzzle. Sight system is wing protected aperture Ghost Ring type. Front sight is two piece, welded base with wings and red fiber optic bead screwed on. Rear is wing protected aperture or Ghost Ring, that is windage and elevation adjustable. Drill holes for rear sight are on level 1.5 inch centers. 11 Slot Picatinny rail has 5 drill points. Magazine tube is 15 inch overall length, with steel stud cap, and holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch or 4 rounds of 3 inch shells, fully loaded capacity of 5 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch, 4 + 1 on 3 inch. Slide release lever is extended smooth faced steel. Trigger is .250 serrated face steel, with push button safety for a right handed shooter. We assume the safety is not reversible for left handed shooters. Trigger pull on the photo specimen gauged at 6 1/2 pounds, with moderate felt creep and minimal overtravel. Pump mechanism is double steel slide bars, with slotted steel shell carrier. Forend is semi beavertail synthetic, with corn cob type serrations. Buttstock is pistol grip combat type; length of pull is 14 1/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is 2 1/4 inches at comb and 3 3/4 inches at the heel, measured from the sights, with a 3/4 inch right hand cant. Stock has molded lateral serrations on the pistol grip. Weight empty is 5 pounds, 8 ounces, with center of gravity an inch behind the breech face. Overall length is 38 7/8 inches. Trigger guard is black polymer; bolt and shell carrier are black teflon; and the balance of the finish is digital camo. Lettering is mechanically inscribed. It has a 1 inch hairline stress crack right side behind the receiver. This shotgun comes in a factory relabeled box with choke tube wrench, Akkar instruction manual, two shot adapter, and protective papers. Apart from the blemish, surface detractions are minimal, only faint occasional edge wear. We rate it as Excellent / Blem in Box, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, threads, and mechanism are all bright and clean.
