Hart, N.Y. under Lic....(RARE). Plum patina, 5 shot fluted barrel. Factory engraved. Metal, wood, front site, hammer, trigger, ram, et al in very good condition. Wood grips are numbered to the gun and have about 95%+ varnish. Wedge, trigger, frame, barrel, ram lock et al are all numbered to this gun. Numbers and lettering in very good condition. The top of Barrel has the A.J. Hart & Bro. N.Y. which is in good condition...See pic's. Made around 1860. Serial #4xx.....very low and rare. I was told that the Confederate's used these Bacons during the Civil War. No rust, Barrel rifling in very good condition. The hammer, trigger, cylinder/mechanics are in excellent condition.
