THis rifle was purchased new in the late 1950's by my grandfather when he lived in northern Virginia. He moved to South Carolina in the late 1960's and the gun sat in his cabinet until it was given to me earlier this year. It has the original sling which is in good condition and the original scope which has some pitting. The gun did have a leather recoil pad but it was taken off at some point. There is a faint line on the stock where the edge of the pad met the stock. The gun is in very good condition except for the areas noted with a ball point pen in the pictures. I am selling it because I really don't have a use for it. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for looking.
