Reputedly .44-40 caliber. Metal parts have a mottled dark patina overall, with scattered light pitting. Stocks show moderate to heavy wear and use overall, having been cleaned and stained, with several small cracks and small filled spots, plus one larger crack in the wrist on right side and a narrow piece of wood replaced in right side of wrist. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
