Description: Colt Third Model Derringer: Photos coming soon Originally in .41 Rimfire, either re-bored, or more likely, over-cleaned. Barrel mikes at aprox .445 dia. at muzzle. Retains most of factory nickel plating on frame, with some pinprick. Side-pivoting barrel has gray patina with some surface pitting. Small area of deeper pitting at Rt muzzle. "COLT " lettering still sharp & distinct on top. Nickel-Silver crescent front sight. Good checkering on hammer. Grips retain much original varnish. Rt grip panel shows old repair crack. Mechanically VG. Hammer still cocks crisply, falls smartly. Barrel swivels & locks smartly into place. " V " engraved on bottom of receiver ahead of trigger.
