These are a faithful copy of the Browning original design, but at substantially reduced cost. I don't have to tell you about John Moses Browning, or the genius of his designs. The Hi-power, as you know, was his last, and perhaps his best design. (Some say this is what he was trying to achieve with his 1911 .45 ACP design.) This was the first high capacity 9mm pistol design, and was released just a few years before WW 2. Both the Allies and the Germans supplied this pistol to their troops: the German SS favored them as did the English commandos. Although a copy of the original, these FEG pistols are in every respect just as good as the FN production. Moreover, this version is a SA/DA, whereas the original was SAO (single action only). This is, in my opinion, a much more modern take on the original and more desirable. The magazine holds 13 rounds, with 1 in the chamber. These are well-made pistols and well-worth the modest asking price (in my opinion). If you have questions or would like additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask.
