These pistols are a faithful reproduction of the Colt Government Model produced prior to WW II. The forte of the Series 70 is the lack of a firing pin block or firing pin safety and the crisp single action trigger pull that only comes without the trigger having to depress a plunger. These Colts in .45 ACP caliber feature original rollmarks, a carbon steel frame and slide that are polished blued on the flat surfaces, a 5" barrel, double diamond checkered rosewood grips, arched steel mainspring housing, short steel trigger, standard slide stop, manual safety, grip safety, hammer spur and ejection port, high profile sights and two 7 round magazines.
