Description: This is a very nice example of a Mauser M98 with the 22LR conversion. I have very little information on this rifle except what can be discerned by viewing the pictures. From what research I have done I believe this is a "Trainer" that was converted from 8mm to 22LR. There is no rust or pitting and the finish is exceptional. The stock is in nice condition with the exception of a small split on the bottom which is seen in the pix. The action is smooth and trigger is crisp. The bore has a 22 caliber sleeve inserted and looks clean. Comes with the military sling which is a little worn but complete.
