Description: STAR BKM. 9mm caliber, 3 3/4" barrel, 7" overall length ,weighs 23 oz, 8+1 capacity. Steel slide, alloy frame, checkered walnut (?) grips. It is two toned, with a bronze colored frame and blued the slide. I don't know if the frame came in that color or if blue anodizing faded after a time. In any event, it's a striking color combination. It is a high quality single action 1911 pattern pistol, imported by Interarms. Back before the days of plastic guns, the BKM was (is) one of the top choices in a compact, light weight 9mm by those who carried concealed or professionally.
