The metal surfaces on this quality five-screw revolver retain about 99% original blue with the only noticeable wear being a light turn ring around the recessed cylinder. Both the hammer and trigger retain most of the original vibrant case colors. The revolver features a set of checkered diamond walnut grips, numbered to a different revolver, with silver S&W medallions that rate excellent and have a few small dings along the bottom edges. Revolver is also equipped with a Patridge front sight and factory adjustable rear. The timing and lock-up are perfect and this 1950's vintage Pre-Model 27 is in excellent condition overall and would make a fine addition to any handgun target shooter's or S&W collector's battery.
