Description: America Remembers Series Confederate Enfield! .58 Cal. New, Unfired and comes with beautiful display. This gun is a limited edition 1853 Enfield Rifle built by America Remembers. It’s a .58 Cal., never fired, 38” barrel that’s high polished blue. The stock is made of Walnut with a excellent grains and a oil finish. The barrel is decorated gold filled lettering listing the Confederate States down the right side. The left side of the barrel has famous Confederate battles listed also in gold lettering. On the breech to the left of the hammer are crossed confederate flags with “DEO VINDICE” in riband. The lock/hammer assembly is decorated with gold filled floral scrolls. The buttplate, trigger guard, forend cap, and barrel bands are all finished in bright polished brass. Looks amazing! On the right side of the buttstock is a large, mounted oval “CS” plate also finished in polished brass. This amazing showpiece is displayed on a wooden, wallmount display that has amazing craftsmanship. The display measures 13”x 61” with two wooden pegs that the gun rest on. At the top center of the display is a small America Remembers plaque, at the bottom of the display is a replica officers belt buckle that has a big CSA across the buckle. Below the buckle are buttons across the bottom to commemorate each of the 11 original confederate states for the particular time period. Also on this attractive display is a light grey, thin carpet that really makes the gun and memorabilia stand out. This gun and display have always been on the wall where they should be as this is an excellent showpiece to go above the mantle in a home or on the wall of your camp. It really is a beautiful gun and America Remembers does builds amazing guns. They no longer offer the Enfield, I believe this particular gun was bought as far back as the late 1980s if I’m not mistaken. Please feel free to email me for photos or if you have any questions.
