Sale Pending / On Hold 4/7/09: Clean, crisp and nice! Fresh from the estate of both a WW1 and WW2 OSS veteran and absolutely original and nice. Serial No. 813,7XX. Bore excellent, retains 98% of its original finish, markings crisp and clear. Only wear to blue is at the extreme high points, mostly at end of slide, end of frame and a scratch below take down lever or arm. "WB" inspectors mark below take down arm, "P" on frame and slide, barrel "G". Grips are original with no cracks or damage. BUT, although this Colt 45 has NEVER been played with, messed with, tinkered with or anything else and is exactly as found in the estate and, was found with its original 1942 dated shoulder holster (which we will be selling separately), the slide has a serial number of 813,9xx (only 200 numbers away) however is absolutely, positively matching and most certainly the same slide shipped with this gun from the factory. This WW2 45 auto is the real deal, directly from the vet's estate who has had posession of the gun since its issue in WW2. Magazine appears original and is fully blued. Picture of serial number on gun has been digitally covered by us. Must be shipped to an FFL licensee and sales to Calif cannot be made at this time. Add $25. P&H in lower 48 states.
Will ship for $25. in lower 48 states.
