Description: Heym German combination gun 222 16 gauge.

This is a nice little knocking around the woods combination gun, by the legendary German gunmaker, Frederich Wilhelm Heym.

It’s chambered in 16 Gauge standard 2 3/4” chambers and 222 Remington.

Super light at just under 6# with a Dural receiver and 23.5” (60 cm) barrels.

Nice overall shape with basic scroll engraving and @95% original bluing. Length of pull over a thin pad is 12 3/4” cold easily be extended with a 1” pad. stock finish is good with signs of use. 2 very small holes on the top where a wood comb riser was attached with #4 screws. Trigger guard is of the same imitation Buffalo horn as the Sauers. locks up tight with double greener type cross bolt action. Sling swivel studs fit standard detachable swivels I bought this gun for my wife, but gave her the choice of several She liked a 6.5 Blaser combo I had A little better, so this one goes up for sale.

The shot barrel is full choke with excellent bore. The rifle bore shows some old light rust and is dark but shows solid rifling. Could probably use a good cleaning.

Adjustable Single set trigger on rifle, cocking indicators. German style claw mount bases, and a weaver style base that has an ARO red dot reflex sight mounted. Perfect for use with the rifle or shotgun barrel. Has an excellent Hensoldt (Zeiss) 6x scope in German claw mounts. Post and cross hair German number one reticle. Clear optics.
