This Colt Single Action Army revolver was shipped to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Company, St. Louis, Missouri, April 1, 1911 (serial #317042), with one other gun. It has a 7.5” barrel, hard rubber grips and is in .38 WCF (.38-40) caliber. The gun retains nearly 75% of its original factory blue finish, and case colors are fading but present. It is mechanically fine, with all clicks and notches. The bore shows overall frosting but strong rifling with no holes or rings. Grips are in good shape. The Colt is housed in a fine condition George Lawrence, heavy leather, double Mexican loop, leather laced holster.
